Dawn Mortimer FULL COLOR-01

Dear Patrons of Ranch View Family Medicine,

I have tremendous gratitude and admiration for Dawn Catherine Mortimer who envisioned and produced the portrait and family photography throughout our space. Dawn has an extraordinary ability to see and capture individuals and their families at their most beautiful.

Dawn’s contribution to our health care facility is fitting and appropriate given her own personal commitment to wellness and fitness. I met Dawn in 2011 while working out in a strength training group.  We have remained friends and work out buddies ever since.

Dawn is a native New Yorker. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Suffolk University in Boston. In 2005, she moved to Colorado with her husband and two daughters along with an assortment of family pets.

In addition to photography and fitness, Dawn has a special interest in working with animals. She has volunteered at numerous animal wildlife and rescue centers over the last 25 years.  She has been a Docent of the Denver Zoo since 2006.  She facilitates zoo education outreach programs in which she brings live animals from the zoo to various schools in the Denver Metro area.   She also gives her time as a volunteer photographer with a nonprofit organization called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep which provides remembrance photography to parents who have lost a baby.

As a mother of two girls, Dawn knows well how quickly time passes and families grow and change. She understands the value and importance of capturing family moments with photographic keepsakes to preserve and treasure. She is skilled at senior portraits and family portraits including those with pets.  Her love of animals has given her a particular gift in this area.  Her goal as a photographer is to create beautiful, creative, artistic portrait images for her clients to treasure for many years to come.

I highly recommend Dawn and her work to any of you who may be in considering family or individual portraits.

Kind Regards,

Julianne R. Garrison, MD
